• Dyloc® is a Blue non-absorbable monofilament of a thermoplastic Polyether-ester elastomer.
• Dyloc is a soft material with elastic properties and is easy to tie with excellent knot handling ability.
• Dyloc softens in the mouth due to its thermo-elastic properties.
• Dyloc does not support Tissue infiltration and has qualities such as softness, pliability, excellent tying, and elastic properties with good tensile strength, it is the ideal suture for the discerning surgeon.
• Dyloc lacks package memory, and it ties very much like silk as the stretch in the suture gives excellent knot security.
• Dyloc could prove as an ideal suture for Implant surgery and because of its softness is better tolerated in the mouth.
